Marble blocks overlap in an apparent unstable balance. The blocks are supported by fragile glass spheres that illuminate the sculpture that becomes a surprising lamp.
A superb piece of functional decor in a contemporary home or office, the simple yet rigorous geometric forms of this table lamp are softened by the light diffused from the hand blown opal glass globe framed between two solid blocks of marble.
Sissy Daniele, after attending the Faculty of “Fashion Sciences and Technologies”, obtained a master’s degree in architecture and Interior Design.She collaborates with a company of Tecnology for Video Entertainment and Video Scenography dealing with 3D modeling. Creative, product and interior designer. In 2017 she founded sid&sign design, product design and communication studio based in Puglia. She has participated in numerous design exhibitions, winning awards and recognitions. In 2017 she held a solo exhibition in the picturesque setting of the city of Monopoli, in 2018 she won a competition in Martina Franca and the first prize Pimar for the competition organized by the company Sprech. In 2019 she participated in the Milan Design Week. Many of her works are in private collections. In 2020 she co-founded the brand Dimarmo, of which she is art director. In 2021 she inaugurated a solo exhibition at the modern art gallery “Nuova Era” in Bari. She is the subject of numerous newspapers including Corriere della sera.
