About the Item
Minimalist and elegant floor lamp with its tripod structure from the 1950s. The assembly of materials gives it its original modernist aesthetic. Furthermore, the completely redone lampshade has a large integrated space for good dispersion of light. The clean lines and the subtle contrast between the brass rod by which the height is adjusted, and the lacquered metal base, help to make this floor lamp a unique piece.
In 1952, Strinning founded String Design AB and Swedish Design AB. His company String, since then, has continued to launch new products, such as the String Office Range (2015) which received the German Design Award in 2016.
