Swedish Modern Floor lamp with marble and brass, 1940s
About the Item
Swedish Modern floor lamp by unknown maker and designer. Made in Sweden ca 1940s. Fluted brass stem with two adjustable arms with custom brass hardware. Base made from Swedish "Kolmårdsmarmor", a marble specific for the area around Kolmården in Sweden. The base stand son three round feet of beech wood. Two new lamp shades in off-white chintz fabric. Hand sewn with single pleating and liner. Very good vintage condition with few signs of age related wear and patina.
