Swedish modernist counterweight floor lamp, 1950s
About the Item
Rare Swedish 1950’s counterweight floor lamp, made from brass and steel. It stands on a tripod swivel base featuring a diamond-shaped wooden detail at the top. The brass arm is adjustable in all directions, and the double-cone lamp shade is also adaptable. Although unmarked, this lamp is likely a creation of the Swedish lighting manufacturer Boréns in the late 1950s.
