About the Item
Beautiful silver aluminum twin spotlight floor lamp designed by Ronald Homes and E. Cooke for cone light limited in the 1970s. The lamp is adjustable and both shades can rotate. Characteristic is the switch in the stand, so the lamps can be switched separately.
The Conelight limited company was founded after World War II in October 1946.
The Conelight Lmtd. no longer exists, it ended business in 1988. Designers mentioned with this lamp are E. Cooke and of course Ronald Homes. Ronald Homes is an English RAF pilot, designer and painter. E. Cooke is Edmund "Ted" Harry Cooke-Yarborough. He was the lead designer Harwell Dekatron and designer of one of world's earliest computers.
This floor lamp is in good condition considering it's age.
