About the Item
Witches Hat Pendant is a minimal uncluttered, selectively detailed, timeless, conical pendant that works equally well flush mounted or suspended. These hand made Wende Reid Studio lights include custom patinated solid brass stems and ceiling canopies; hand upholstered and hand stitched with a wide colour range of Italian linen. Subtle signature hand-stitched seams, bronzed armatures with bronzed pegs to hold the removable linen bottom diffuser panel are some of the refined details that make Hat Pendants timeless and elegant yet minimal. Witches Hat Pendants enhance any style of decor, wherever an uncluttered classic conical shape will be the perfect counterpoint to other elements. They provide useful diffused light levels. Dimensions shown in this listing are for the flush mounted ceiling drop. Stem lengths as shown available in custom lengths up to 24 inches. Wired by a licensed Australian electrician for international use to fit US, UK, EU or AU bulb requirements, Witches Hat Pendants are ready to install by your local licensed electrician. We're happy to work with you to customize larger or smaller pendants, stems of any length, customized stitching colours and to help you source custom fabrics.

Wende Reid designs personalized comfortable, pared back spaces for her design practice, Form and Colour, and she designs products in the US, Europe and Australia. Wende Reid Studio is her evolving collection of lighting and furnishings that blend a clean, natural 21st century Australian aesthetic with the spirit of 20th century modernism in New York and Europe. Each piece embodies her ethos to create original, adaptable, simple and refined shaded table lamps, pendant lamps, wall lights, furniture and hardware that enhance both contemporary and classical settings. This modern, artisanal customizable collection, made of sustainable timbers, solid fine metals and hand-stitched linen, pays homage to nature, organic design, and the great artists, architects and designers Jean Arp, Brancusi, Gio Ponti, Paul Mc Cobb, Edward Wormley and others.
