About the Item
Pair of Sunburst crown flush mounts, gilt iron, frosted glass, Spain, 1950s.
Beautiful hand-hammered sunburst crown shape leafed flush mount ceiling light fixtures with frosted glass panel diffusers.
This pair of ceiling lights were handcrafted in Spain at the Mid-Century Modern period in the style of Brutalism. The body of the light fixtures is heavily decorated by the hammer marks and they have handcut iron leaves.
Terrific aged patina with original gold leaf finishing.
They provide a good amount of light through the large glass diffusers. Newly wired with 2 E17 bulb holders
They can be placed flush mounted or as pendants hanging from a chain at the desired height.
