About the Item

Pressed Glass flush ceiling lights 'pair' by unknown Danish producer, 1960s, beautiful pair of vintage pressed glass flush lights or wall lights with white mounting boxes in very good vintage condition. Two charming ceiling flush lights, each comprised of a thick pressed glass shade, double corrugated and shaped like a bowl, and a white metal mounting box. The glass shade is secured to the mounting box by screwing the bowl on the box. The circular black mounting box is attached to the ceiling by four screws and the short connections wire for easy connection to existing hard wiring. The clear pressed glass shades are decorated with faceted ornamented pattern to give optimal scattering of the emitted light in every direction. Original designed as flush ceiling lights, but you could also choose to use it as wall lights, they will provide plenty of light without giving glare. A pair of charming pieces with many applications, used as flush ceiling lights in a hall way or bedroom, or used as wall lights in the living room, hall way or even the bed or bathroom. They would add a true vintage touch to the interior. Condition: Both lights are in very good vintage condition with few signs of usage and age. No chips or cracks in the glass shades, only few normal signs on the mounting boxes. Please see the photos! All original, but rewired with 50 cm (19.7") high end quality, white fabric cord and fitted with safety clamps for easy connection to existing wiring. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective bag. Light source: Two bulbs, Edison screw-fittings (E27/E26) max 100 watt each.
