With rare light fixtures as one of our specialities, we were extremely pleased to find this set of 'midmod' flush mounts. Having sold a few rare sets of Raak fixtures in the past, but without knowing these were also made by Raak we immediately felt that these too could be by Raak. All we had to do was unscrew the unique glass shades and there they were, all three of these flush mounts have the original, printed paper Raak label inside the circular, blackened metal shade holder. With the midcentury era not exactly being our speciality, we had to look these up on the web and all we found was a photo in the Raak catalogue number 9 on page 13. So these lights are not available anywhere else in the world and that ofcourse is excellent if you have a client (or if you yourself are someone) who only wants the rarest and most beautiful fixtures available. And both design AND condition-wise these absolutely fit that bill. This unique set is ideal for a midcentury modern (inspired) interior, but being as stylish and timeless as they are these stunning flush mounts will also look amazing in a ultra modern interior. When we see a rare and great looking design like this, we sometimes wonder why people are not copying lights like this, because we could see these look marvelous in all kinds of spaces in this day and age as well. Imagine these over a kitchen island, over a midsize conference table or even above a built-in vanity table. In the Dutch description of these Raak lights it reads that these unique glass shades 'are provided with mirror optics with high reflection value'. In our photos we used different wattages per flush mount, but we want to emphasize that in real life these stunning, transparent glass shades never turn yellowish in color. They always remain transparent in 'color' and so both with the light switched on and off these very rare and very stylish flush mounts are always incredibly attractive to look at.
Therefor too this once in a lifetime find again is great value for money. But also, because our price for this set of three also includes perfect packing (in a custom made box) and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 2 to 4 workdays.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. These have been rewired to the highest standard for safe & immediate usage in the USA as well. Our American clients can use their regular E26 bulbs. You can simply mount these via the many openings in the tops. Please also read our item description.
