Signed Square Kaiser Flush Mount Large Wall Sconce Lamp Murano Ice Glass 1960s
About the Item
Cool modernist square Kaiser multifunctional flush mount ceiling light or large wall sconce which can be dated Germany around 1960. The Mid-century lamp is made of beautiful textured Murano ice glass, white enameled metal, two porcelain fittings for two E27 standard screw bulbs to illuminate, ( we recommend LED bulbs which produce no heat ) silvered brass metal screws which hold the glass parts and signed with still remaining paper label Kaiser Leuchten model number 04/0003 at the bottom. Wiring is perfect, so the light is fine working and ready to use. It stays in very good original vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, made of best materials and of heavy high quality. The German company Kaiser is well-known for the artist Christian Dell who designed several lamps for the Bauhaus and which were executed by Kaiser. The flush mount is 38 x 38 cm / 14.96 x 14.96 inches wide and deep and has a height of 11 cm / 4.33 inches, perfect for rooms with flat ceilings. The Kaiser light would be a perfect addition and upgrade for any Mid-Century Modern or stylish design interior.
