Spanish Sunburst Crown Ceiling Light in Gilt Iron
About the Item
Neoclassical Revival gilt iron leafed crown flush mount with frosted glass shade. Spain, 1940s-1950s.
Handcrafted in Spain at the Mid-Century Modern period in hand-hammered metal with gold leaf gilt finishing. It shows an authentic pretty beautiful aged patina with original gold leaf gilding.
The frosted glass light diffusor is surrounded by an elegant foliage crown shaped frame and allows to disperse a good amount of light. It has Three twisted iron cords as decorative details surrounding the glass
It can be placed as ceiling light fixture or hanging from a chain as a pendant.
Newly wired with 2 E27 bub holders.
