However, we are certain that only very few will still have the lantern that would have originally brought light there. The beautifully designed and hand-crafted bronze exterior, the pure Arts and Crafts brass 'roof' with embossed flowers and the mint, transparent cathedral glass panels together make this a work of art on your ceiling and it really breathes that early 1900s coach house class. They just don't make 'em like this anymore and so, if you are looking for a lantern for your stable OR if you still use an antique coach house OR if you live in a converted one then maybe you should be its next custodian. The natural wear and aging (also known as patina) has only made this piece more beautiful and its authentic, look and feel will never fail to impress. Thanks to the hook inside the height adjustable brass canopy, safely mounting this light tight to your ceiling will take no more than a few minutes. Additions or alterations made to the original: The bottom of this rare light once had a frame with glass as well, but for the past 40 years it hang in the entrance of a mansion where it needed the extra light shining through the bottom. Looking closely at our images you can see the 'ball hinge'. Wear consistent with age and use. Both the exterior of the brass and bronze AND that of the stunning cathedral glass could not be in better condition.
