Early 20th Century Copper Nautical Porch Lantern

About the Item

Early 20th Century copper nautical lantern with amber glass. Caged fixture with an open copper ring at the bottom, which unscrews to provide access to the light bulb. Cage is a darkened metal, bottom and crown are a copper finish, as is the tube and matching canopy. The original finish has been cleaned and retains its patina. The finish is in very good condition, except on the hanging tube where the slip canopy slides down for installation. Rewired for damp location use, with a three part wire and porcelain socket. Standard Edison base socket, 100 Watt max.
