Large-scale Murano glass mid-century modern lantern or chandelier. Neoclassical style . By Seguso, Italy 1960s. The Mid-century Murano glass lantern has a golden yellow or Beige color. The glass work technique is called Balloton, consisting in air trap glass blowing enhanced by metallic gold inclusions. It creates some pattern on the glass. The Italian lantern has 1 light inside the large bottom vase, illuminating all the fixture. The Murano glass is translucent and creates a warm halo of light when lit. Height of the glass only: 45.3 in. It has a brass chain and a second brass canopy, adding H 13.8 in. The total height with chain is: 59.1 inches. Excellent condition for this Vintage Murano light.
