1950s Ceramic and Wrought Iron Sconces by Ecole De Vallauris, Set of 4
About the Item
A set of 4 collectible wall lights by Ecole de Vallauris. Each sconce is composed of black-laquered wrought iron; with four S-curves on a circular backplate and a fifth holding an asymmetrical, handmade candle cup. Each bobeche is unique, hand painted with thin black stripes and large yellow, red, and green blocks of color on ivory ceramic. It's quintessential of the Vallauris school of the 1950s. Rewired. One candelabra bulb socket on each sconce. Measures : Height: 8.67 in (22 cm) x width: 9.45 in (24 cm) x depth: 6.3 in (16 cm).
