20th Century Empire Style Wall Girdle/Wall Light after Antoine-André Ravrio

About the Item

Imperial Empire wall girdle to Antoine-André Ravrio 1759-1814. Bronze, gilded or partly dark patinated. From acanthus of fullplastic herme / Amor adult with, holding a vase as a carrier for light bulbs. Outward slender, multi-jointed baluster shank as well as twelve curved and reliefplastically decorated chandelier arms with rolled foliage, ending in vase-shaped grommets over large eaves. Thirteen.
