French Silverplate Shield Back Sconces with Rococo Shell Details, Circa 1910

About the Item

AIS1838 A pair of large double light sconces in a silverplate over bronze finish. The shield-form backplates are finished above and below with shell motifs. The S-curving arms have scrolled terminals and foliate details. The bobeches are castings designed by Remains Lighting Co. to echo the shell details of the backplates. Dimensions: Overall: 11" h. x 15-1/4" w. x 11-1/2" d. Backplate: 10" h. x 7-1/2" w. Application: UL listed for use in dry environments Lamping: 2 Candelabra sockets, maximum 60 watts per socket
