French Silverplate Shield Back Sconces with Rococo Shell Details, Circa 1910
About the Item
AIS1838
A pair of large double light sconces in a silverplate over bronze finish. The shield-form backplates are finished above and below with shell motifs. The S-curving arms have scrolled terminals and foliate details. The bobeches are castings designed by Remains Lighting Co. to echo the shell details of the backplates.
