Green Murano glass sconces-Italy-a pair
About the Item
Pair of tall Murano glass and brass wall sconces, Attributed to Venini, Italy 1970s.
The Mid-Century Modern sconces are made of a top green Murano glass vase nesting the light bulb.
The glass is double layered: the inside is white. It's translucent, letting light through when lit.
The fluted finial is in a mirrored opaque green Murano glass.
The mounts are in polished brass.
Dimensions of the back plate: H 7.87 x W 3.15 in.
Height from the bottom to the wire: 4.725 in.
The sconces create a beautiful halo of light on the wall when lit.
In excellent condition.
