Large Glass Flush Mount or Scone by Glashuette Limburg Germany, 1960s
About the Item
Original lamp from the 1960s from the company Glashütte Limburg, Germany - model 3142 - see picture. The lamp is made of brass and light smoked glass. It can be attached to both the ceiling and the wall. The lamp has four E 27 ceramic sockets and only very minor signs of wear. Mirror head lamps produce a beautiful indirect light with a nice corona around the lamp body - see last picture. These lights have now become a classic in recent design history and are only rarely available. An absolute eye-catcher in a retro 60s interior. The lamp creates a great and exciting play of light in the room and enchants with its charisma.
