Large Pair of Brass and Clear and White Swirl Murano Glass Cubist Sconces, Italy
About the Item
Bespoke long or tall pair of brass and clear with white swirl Murano glass cubist sconces, Italy 2022. Individually, hand-casted Murano glass square blocks in various sizes which are textured with white swirls and streaks are combined with square and rectangular brass plates of various sizes on a long rectangular plate of brass. The result is a cubist styled pair of sconces which are three-dimensional in nature. 8 candelabra base sized lightbulbs reflect light behind glass blocks and brass plates, giving a soft and jewel like reflection. A rare and unique pair of sconces that are a work of art. Handmade in Venice, Italy by a master craftsman. This pair of brass and white Murano glass block sconces are on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center. 4 Euro base candelabra lightbulbs per unit. Measures: 4ft tall.
