Pair of Louis XVI style gilt metal three-light wall sconces or appliques, each in the hunting style or "a la chasse" with ribbon-tied acorn laden oak leaves and deer-hoof pendant finials enshrouding horn-form candlearms. after the model originally for the Grand Salon of the Petit Trianon by Claude Galle (French, 1759-1815), and now in the Salle a manger des retours de chasse in the Appartement intérieur du Roi, at the Château of Versailles. Each: 34" H x 15" W x 10" D.
