Maison Charles Rinceaux Wall Sconce in Nickel Plated Cast Bronze & Brass Shade
About the Item
This stunning single Rinceaux wall sconce by the renowned Maison Charles is a true classic by the famous lighting manufacturer and still a best seller today since the 1960s
Made of solid cast Bronze back plate using the sand casting technique and the hand carved before this piece was Nickel Plated and polished by hand, the sheet brass shade is finished in Matt Nickel Plate and attached the bronze back plate with hand turned screws also in Nickel Plated
The shade houses 2 x E14 lamp holders max 40 Watt and designed such that the light shines down to illuminate the Bronze casting yet light is also cast up from the shade due to the many reflections creating a stunning light effect on the wall
This piece was made in the early 2000s to a historic and classic Charles design.
