Wear consistent with age and use, circa 1940 - 1950, Milan, Italy.

Fantastic large 1950s Stilnovo wall light from Italy. This sconce is made from enameled steel and incredible vintage Italian textured glass. It is rewired for use in the US with 2 E27/28 candelabra based sockets.
The textured glass and small slits in the frame create a very pleasant atmosphere.
In all original unrestored excellent vintage condition.
Still retaining the early yellow Stilnovo label.

They are made of a solid brass structure and triplex-opaline glass shades. Both sconces are stamped "Stilnovo - Italy" on the brass structure. Both glasses are in excellent conditions, the brass structure has light patina purposefully left unpolished.
Large in size and with an impactful presence, these original sconces are a rare find.
