About the Item
Photographs of bygone eras, in which the divas of Cinecittà or Hollywood wore beatiful pleated and flowing skirts inspired the design of the PLISSE lamp, which takes its name from these garments. Designed by Architect Daniela Puppa, who is also a successful professional in the world of fashion, this wall or ceiling lamp is available in surprising and refined pop colors. It is made of aluminum and it is varnished in anodized red, or anodized sage green or anodized champagne. In the centre of the lamp there is a glass ball in red color. It is available is two sizes, diameter 60 cms and diameter 30 cms. Indirect light Led, 40W 24V 90Cri 2700K.

In an age of blaring noise, blatant commercialism, and pretentiousness, Firmamento Milano stands for the exact opposite. With 50 years of experience in the business world, including over 35 years in design production and distribution, Carlo Guglielmi decided to create Firmamento Milano. Carlo Guglielmi’s goal is to create a catalogue with a collection of products strongly independent of what the market may be demanding. A collection inspired by a deeply-rooted culture of design. Located in Milan, Italy, Gugliemi says that “Milan has always been the capital of a powerful industrial and commercial network, and today it is recognized worldwide as a vital hub of culture, art, creativity, and innovation.” For this reason, the city’s name has contributed to the title of Gugliemi’s company, in order to reflect the city and its values. With that in mind, Carlo Gugliemi wanted to include the name ‘Firmamento,’ due to its meaning "the firmament above us, the sky sparkling with ideas, dreams, values, architects, and beauty.” Today, these values are an essential part of Firmamento Milano, which they want everyone who collaborates with them to share.
