Mid 20th Century Cast Brass Hanging Four Light Sconce with Silk Shade
About the Item
An unusual mid century maximalist hanging sconce. An ornate cast brass backplate and arm holds a hanging fixture. The Fixture is in the shape of a traditional whale oil light. The shade is silk backing a cast brass frame carrying images of conquistadors and seated people. Hand sewn in cream. Completely restored and rewired, new sockets and candlecovers. Ready for installation in the US.
