Mid-Century Black and White Brutalist "Spider” Light Italy 1950’s
About the Item
Amazing mid-century Brutalist "Spider” light, Italy C 1950’s
These spider lights were originally crafted with 9 iron legs, they were typically made with the extra leg to ward off any superstition for the home owner
The large sized spider is hand forged from wrought iron with a milk glass body
The glass shade is attached with 3 small screws to the sides. Under the shade is a single standard bayonet lamp holder
The flex is approx 2m in length, this come from the face as if a string of silk being used to make the web
There’s a small circular ring on the leg for wall hanging or it could be placed as a table lamp.

Length 57cm width 55cm depth 14cm (as it hangs)
Length front leg to back leg if sat on a surface 47cm
The light is wired, in full working order, but as with all our lighting we would always suggest it is fitted and tested in situation by a qualified electrician.
