Mid-Century Set of Wall Lamps Spiky Spheres, Amber Glow by RZB, Germany, 1980s

About the Item

Beautifully designed wall lamps by 'RZB Leuchten', one of Germany's famous mid century manufacturer of high-end design lighting. Come in a round shape, spiky like Mexican cacti: made from transparent glas: gold shimmering with a kind of soap bubbles reflection. So you feel like prickly soap bubbles reflect in a silvery shiny way. Each of the spheres is sitting on a golden chrome (Brass?) metal base. Beautiful warm light, in very good mid century condition. German design at it's best (this is as a matter of fact from my own grandparents estate, believe it or not!). They used to be bedside lamps here in the guest bedroom! Wall mounted. Original RZB label in the base on a label. Holds each 1 of E14 light bulbs (EU screw fitting). If you want the entire set, there is a matching ceiling lamp in a seperate listing.
