About the Item
An eclectic wall light piece, made in a functional art context for “As Seen By,” an exhibition of artworks curated by RIMOWA in autumn 2021.
The piece is made out of Rimowa suitcase aluminium backs in combination with the designers signature of polarized portrait. A light construction with polarized filters in combination with light that play with blocking and bending light to achieve various color through plastic.
It has a regular light of led inside, matching a European wall socket. The effect with the color through the polarized filters appear when you turn the light on and goes away when it's shut off.
