About the Item
Fascinating pair of Murano art glass sconces from the 1990s in the classic Venetian graniglia workmanship.
Each sconce is composed of three clear glass lampshades molded in the shape of leaves and features a stunning light effect, achieved by the hot application of dense, minute flakes of glass on the underside, "Graniglia" in Venetian, which gives the glass a special brilliance.
The bases and lamp covers in gilded metal enrich the glass with beautiful reflections, accentuating the warm feeling.
