Pair Barovier & Toso Style Modern Italian Murano Glass Leaf Sconces, 1980s
About the Item
Beautiful Murano glass leaves of a wonderful green color, made even more beautiful by the polished brass base. The wall lights are made up of a brass structure which is fixed to the wall using dowels and a large green Murano glass leaf inserted into the appropriate seat. The door has a thick glass structure; thanks to its thickness it almost looks like "submerged" glass; to do this, glassmakers join several layers of glass together through heat and repeatedly dip them into vessels of molten colored glass. Note the accuracy and precision with which they were finished. Refinement and class as in the Murano style, unique pieces that always remain precious. When turned on, the wall light is very bright: thanks to the G9 bulb, it will illuminate your home perfectly.
