Made of Brass, Acid Tainted and Cut by Hand.
Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a danish designer. He is known for his self-produced lightings. He probably designed lamps for other danish manufacturers before creating his own business.
Once established, his own designs were sold under the name "Holm-Sorensen & Pedersen Belysning ApS" and later "Holm Sørensen A/S".
Holm Sørensen’s style was influenced by Modernism and even De Stijl and Bauhaus in the beginning.
in the 1960s, Holm Sørensen’s style changed completely. He began to work with unfinished brass and copper surfacesin typical Brutalist style, which was popular from the 1950s to the mid-70s.

- Condition:Rewired: Rewired, comes with a cable, switch and EU plug. These sconces can of course be directly connected to an electrical supply. Wear consistent with age and use. Small scratches. Original wiring and EU-plug in good working order.
