Large pair of Italian chrome-plated steel half dome uplighter wall lamps with green crystal glass plates.
The crystal plates provide a subtle play of light at the bottom of the domes.
Two available, priced as a pair.
Founded in Milan in 1932, Fontana Arte has become renowned for its sleek and elegant designs that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Max Ingrand was a French artist and designer who was born in 1908 and died in 1969.
He was known for his work in glass and is considered one of the most important designers of the mid-20th century. Ingrand was the artistic director of the Italian lighting company Fontana Arte from 1954 to 1964, during which time he created some of the company's most iconic designs. His work is characterized by its clean lines, bold colors, and innovative use of materials, and continues to be celebrated for its timeless elegance and sophistication.
