Pair of French 19th Century Louis XV St. Ormolu Sconces
About the Item
A stunning and extremely high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XV st. ormolu sconces after a model by André Charles Boulle. Each five arm sconce is centered by an exceptional and richly chased foliate backplate in a superb and most decorative satin and burnished finish. Each elegantly scrolled tapered square arm is adorned with acanthus leaves leading to mottled bobeches and lovely foliate candle cups.
