A well-cast and stylish pair of French brass or bronze 3 light wall sconces in the Empire style, each with a central female figure garbed in classical clothing and holding 2 candle branches while wearing a third central branch as a crown. She rests on a central orb. Stamped on the reverse "France" and bearing several embossed numbers. Provenance: From a prominent bay area estate. Circa 1900.
