Pair of French Gilt-Bronze Neoclassical Sconces
About the Item
Pair of French gilt-bronze sconces in the Neoclassical or Louis XVI style, with rams' heads at the base of the arms, a central lion mask, anthemion leaf finial and bell flowers descending the body (Circa 1880). Leaves decorate the arms. The sconces have probably been regilded. They are wired for electricity, but would be converted to US and the candle sleeves would be changed.
