Pair of Mid-Century Modern Brushed Aluminum Perforated Articulating Sconces
About the Item
This refined pair of Mid-Century Modern articulating sconces were realized in the United States circa 1960. They feature conical shades that attach to subtly convex circular back plates via cylindrical supports. The shades offer pyramidal trios of circular perforations running along the base, and exposed aluminum hardware throughout. Elegant, straightforward and unfussy, these sconces embody the beautiful refinement of American Mid Century design at its best. They would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
