Pair of Midcentury French Fleur-de-Lis Two-Light Iron Sconces
About the Item
A pair of French two-light sconces from the mid-20th century. These vintage French hand-forged sconces each feature a horizontally placed bar, with upwardly scrolled ends, providing support to the two ruffled iron bobeches with painted candle sleeves at their centres. The light back-plate is adorn with a simplified fleur-de-lis design at it's top, and scrolled bottom. The black iron light fixtures have wonderful rust and patina throughout, and slightly hammered texture. This pair of French sconces from the mid-20th century have been wired for the US.

- An Elaborate French Iron 8-Light Chandelier w/Deep Swag Arms & Fleur-De-Lis TopLocated in Atlanta, GAA vintage French eight-light iron chandelier. This French chandelier from the mid-20th century features an overall rectangular shape which is made up of a horizontally positioned metal center beam with twists and has deeply swagged iron arms which drape over the beam in a rounded "w" shape. There top of this light is heightened from the post with a stylized fleur-de-lis sculpted metal element with scrolled accents. The eight arms support their iron bobèches, decorated with cut-outs of fleur-de-lis about their perimeters, and painted candle sleeves. This light fixture has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
