Pair of Modernist 14-Disc Sconces in Hand Blown Murano Topaz & Translucent Glass
About the Item
This beautiful pair of modernist 14-disc vistosi sconces were made exclusively for us by our atelier in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice, renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. Realized in the manner of Vistosi, the sconces feature three rows of hand blown Murano glass discs with opaque topaz interiors and translucent borders attached to a chrome frame. With their monochromatic palate and clean modernist lines, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. They accommodate three Edison bulbs each providing up to 300 watts of light.
