Pair of Tall French Louis XVI Gilt Bronze Electrified Wall Sconces
About the Item
A very elegante pair of tall Louis XVI style gilt bronze wall sconces, France, early 20th century. Two light-arm richly decorated with scrollwork foliage, bottom ending in Tassel & Ribbon form. High quality solid bronze fire-gilded finish, professional electrified at a later time with two candelabra light sockets and candle sleeve, four new shades have been added. Each sconce takes 2 Edison E14 screw bulbs. These wonderful pieces are in fine antique condition, great aged patina to gilding.
