About the Item
Incredibly rare set of wall sconces by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, Austria 1960s. Generally we see these pine apple lamps in cascade pendants ( often also taken apart and sold separately as single pendants ) but to find them in their original bracket is rare. All the acrylic crystals are complete and as can be seen is all the brass in a lovely patinated condition. Last time they were used they were fitted directly into the wall and operated with a main switch buts as you can see on the back of the wall mount the black pull switch cord mechanism is still there so by adding a cord you can also operate them manually which is easy for example when used as bed side lamps.
