Pair Single Light Venini Bullicante Murano Glass Sconces
About the Item
Found in Italy and attributed to Venini, these Murano glass sconces date from the 1950s. Each sconce has a round brass back plate, a single, thick ridged clear glass arm and ridged, tulip-form globe/shade with scalloped rim and bullicante (controlled bubble) design. Sockets are standard size and have been rewired for US electrical standards. No signature found, but these fixtures were acquired from a reputable and knowledgeable Italian glass dealer. Sold and priced as a pair.
