Mid-Century Brutalist Wall Sconce by Albano Poli for Poliarte, 1970
This wall sconce embodies the essence of the 1960s-1070s. It features approximately twenty stacked Murano glass rectangles of various sizes, all transparent yet textured, creating a captivating visual effect. The sconce is equipped with an E14 socket mounted on a painted metal frame.
Socket: E14 Bulb included.
Suitable for installation in all countries (USA, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia). In excellent condition.
Albano Poli, born in 1935 in Verona, has been passionate about glass craftsmanship since his youth. In 1968, he founded [company name] in Verona, where he crafted his renowned lamps that reflect both tradition and the artistic experience of the designer. Inspired by the discarded masses of glass from the Murano furnaces, traditionally turned into formless blocks known as "gems," Poli envisioned a sturdier, safer glass module for constructing contemporary art pieces, symbolizing the unity of multiplicity.
