Sculptural Arredoluce Stilnovo Sconces Italian Lights Black Yellow Brass, 1950s

About the Item

Sculptural pair Italian midcentury sconces or wall lights most probably designed by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce or Stilnovo, Italy, circa 1950s. The rare and exceptional wall lamps are made of patinated brass metal combined with outside yellow and black inside off-white painted or enameled aluminum shades. The upper shades forming a flower have a width of 14 cm / 5.51 inches. Flexible arms allow multiple positions and lighting effects. Each lamp has a plastic fitting and takes one E14 standard bulb to illuminate, we recommend LED bulbs which produce no heat. Wiring is new and perfect so all is fine working and ready to use. The height is about 30 cm / 11.81 inches, they are 30 cm / 11.81 inches deep and 14 cm / 5.51 inches wide. They stay in very good to excellent vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The stunning statement pieces are beautiful, they are an eye-catcher and an upgrade for any Mid-Century Modern design interior, they are simply gorgeous.
