The historic Mazzega IVR glassworks was the architect, from the mid-1950s, of a profound artistic and conceptual renewal in the field of artistic glass production on Murano. From that time he collaborated with the artists of the Fucina Degli Angeli, which included in his ranks a refined and cosmopolitan elite of the European art world of the 20th century: from Marc Chagall to Pablo Picasso, from Giò Ponti to Georges Braque and Jean Cocteau, from Fulvio Bianconi to Carlo Scarpa.
