Over the past 5 years we have seen our midcentury made and our antique alabaster fixtures become ever more popular both with interior designers and private buyers. Our alabaster fixtures almost always have a timeless design and when the light shines through them these mineral stone shades always create a light effect that is calm and atmospheric. And with this mineral stone growing inside mountains over thousands of years, the rocks out of which these amazing lights are carved always have a unique pattern. Each shade has its own unique veins and cloudy patterns running through them. We have never seen a set of six with such a stylish Art Deco design and with the natural veins and patterns being so perfectly and evenly spread. All it takes are two screws (or hooks) per sconce to wall mount them and you can simply attach a bracket with one or two sockets inside these striking shades to create the perfect atmosphere in your hallway, up your stairwell, on your landing, over your credenza etc. In our photos we used a 25 watt bulb and, as we have mentioned many times before, both with the lights on and off these rare and stylish sconces are much more beautiful in real life than in any of our photos.
