Small Organic Sputnik Opal Glass Sconce Stilnovo Style, 1970s
About the Item
Fine small 6 lights Italian opal glass & brass sconce (chromed). Measures: height 15"/38cm width 12,5"/32cm & depht 5,5"/14cm.
The sconce is in good original condition and rewired. Only the wall holder has been replaced by a more stable design to allow different wall and ceiling mounting. The opal glass balls are 4" in diameter. The chrome-plated surface is good with some irregularities. Therefore, the charming overall impression is not disturb. The 6 hand-blown glass balls, which consist of 2 layers of glass (clear outside & white inside) were finally hand-cutted and matted. The glass balls are without mistakes. All surfaces are fixed with Zapon-lacquer (cellulose). The height is 15 inches, the width 12,5 inches and the depht 5,5 inches. You can find the matching chandelier in our exposition.
