Stunning Set of Four 1940s Modernist Petal Sconces with Adjustable Brass Arms
About the Item
This exquisite set of six Art Deco Modernist petal sconces features two adjustable brass arms each extending from lustrous brass skyscraper style bases. The frosted shades have been painted with white pigment to create a striated reeded pattern, and are supported by black enamel pendant holders. These sconces illustrate both the old world artisan craftsmanship, as well as the aesthetic sensibilities, of the period. They have been newly rewired to American standards. Excellent condition.
