French Art Déco greyhound table lamp in silvered bronze on brown marble base 1930s Greyhounds from the French Art Deco period as an expression of the luxurious lifestyle of that time. The animals are in motion the marble base consisting of a straight rising part of beige-brown tones and a hilly part of taupe-white tones also picks up the dynamics of the sculpture. For this object was made a lamp construction in patinated brass with 2 sockets, the 100% silk shade is made from a DEDAR, Milano fabric. Very nice Art Deco Desk lamp. Nickel base, comes with a original Red shade . Attributed to Max Schumacher. Normal wear and tear after 70 years. One Large E27 bulb needed.
