1970s Cini Boeri Style Black Marble Pyramid Lamps Abat Jour, Pair

About the Item

An exquisite, monumental pair of 1970s Cini Boeri for Arteluce 'Abat Jour' style black marble pyramid lamps, with original 1970s black silk cloth shades. These have been rewired. They meet Australian/NZ standards, please see notes on wiring, below. There is a leftover holder for a harp fitting still attached, for those in the US wishing to convert the lamp. This is a simple conversion for your electrician. These are monumental lamps. The dimensions in the listing details are the full width and height of base and shade together, as pictured. The pyramid base alone measures: 28.5 x 27.5 cm (11.22 x 10.82 inches), with a height of 65cm (25.6 inches) to the top of the bulb socket. The shades alone measure: 56 cm wide x 38 cm deep x 32 cm high (22 inches wide x 14.96 deep x 12.59 high). The bases are in very good condition. The shades are worn. The frames are in very good condition and there are a few marks, scratches and a single small tear to the fabric covering. The shades still present well and are included in this sale. A NOTE ON WIRING: This item is rewired to Australian/NZ Standard and has been tested and tagged safe for a nominal 230v system (supply of anywhere from 210-240v). Australian and New Zealand buyers must consult a registered electrician for hard wired installation or safety tag will be void. Plug and play if this item is a lamp. This light is compatible with European 220v electrical systems but wire colours may differ and correct bulbs may or may not be readily available. Please check with your bulb supplier before purchase - many are available online. Consult your electrician for hard wired installation or to change bulb sockets (or for plug change if this item is a lamp). In the US and anywhere a 110v system is in place - this light may or may not require rewiring to meet your local safety standards and correct bulbs may or may not be readily available. Please use the information provided to seek advice on compatibility from your locally registered electrician before purchase. They will be able to advise on the potential need for rewiring, bulb socket changes, or if this item is a lamp, for plug change. Before purchase, please check with your bulb supplier - many are available online. Use of LED bulbs is recommended (to prevent overheating and reduce power usage).
