1980 Italian Brutalist Pair of Cream Beige Murano Glass Round Brass Table Lamps
About the Item
Late 1970s-early 1980s one of a kind Italian pair of modernist table lamps with an Art Deco flair. The handmade brass structure, raised on a round base with small feet, is composed of a half round shield decorated with a sculptural brass lace perforation hand-worked with a blowtorch to produce a very interesting and exclusive leopard pattern that allows the illumination to come through. The light source is enclosed in a Murano glass cylinder of an unusual and sophisticated sand taupe color with a quality honeycomb texture.
